Union Dental is an independent, family-owned private practice. Dr. Leonardo Castillo founded it in 2018 and still owns it, with no corporate group or outside investor involved. You get one dentist and one team who know your history, and recommendations based only on what your mouth needs.

Can I get a second opinion on work another dentist recommended?

Yes. Bring the treatment plan and any X-rays you were given. We'll examine you, show you what we see, and tell you plainly whether we agree, including when the work can safely wait.

Do you accept dental insurance and Medicaid?

Yes. We're in-network with a wide range of PPO plans, and we accept Medicaid. Our team checks your coverage before your visit, explains your benefits, and files the claims for you.

What if I don't have dental insurance?

Our membership plan is a flat yearly fee, starting at $300 a year, that covers your cleanings and exams, plus 30% off additional treatment. You can learn more or join at your first visit.

A Real Private Practice, Owned by Dr. Leonardo Castillo

Dr. Castillo wanted to own his own practice from the time he was in high school. After dental school he worked in both corporate and private offices and saw where dentistry was heading: consolidated, incentive-driven, and impersonal. He founded Union Dental in 2018 to keep dentistry personable, not cookie-cutter, and independent, not corporate. We answer to the person in the chair and their long-term health, not to a production quota or a corporate owner.
