A Proven Solution for Missing Teeth

Living with multiple missing teeth can significantly impact your quality of life, from the foods you can enjoy to your confidence in social situations. Dentures are a reliable and time-tested solution to restore not only the appearance of your smile but also its essential function. At Union Dental, we create high-quality, custom-fitted dentures designed to provide you with the comfort and stability you deserve.

The "Union Dental Way": A Deliberate Approach to Quality

Our philosophy for creating dentures is simple: do it right, every step of the way. We want to be transparent with our patients — we are not Amazon Prime, and that there are numerous obstacles that can get in the way from the perfect result. However, we believe the best outcomes are born from a deliberate, detail-oriented process. It all starts with building the perfect impression. By being patient and working with us through our meticulous steps, you give yourself the best chance for something that you will be satisfied with.

Our process

Our Denture Options

We will conduct a thorough examination and discuss your needs to recommend the best type of denture for your specific situation. We are proud to offer a full range of denture solutions.

Full Dentures

Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing. They are custom-made to fit snugly over your gums and can be conventional (placed after the gum tissue has healed) or immediate (placed the same day teeth are removed).

Partial Dentures

If you still have some of your natural teeth, a partial denture is an excellent option to fill in the spaces created by missing teeth. It consists of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored base, which is often connected by a metal framework that holds the denture in place.

Implant-Supported Dentures

For enhanced stability and confidence, implant-supported dentures connect to dental implants that have been surgically placed in the jawbone. This provides a secure fit that eliminates slipping and significantly improves chewing ability.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It's normal to experience a brief adjustment period as you get used to speaking and eating with your new dentures. Minor irritation can occur initially, but this typically subsides as your mouth adapts. We are here to help with any adjustments needed to make you more comfortable.

  • Dentures should be removed and cleaned daily with a soft-bristle brush and non-abrasive denture cleanser. They should be kept moist when not being worn to prevent them from losing their shape. We will provide you with a full set of care instructions.

  • Yes. It's important to continue with regular dental checkups even if you have full dentures. During these visits, we will examine your gums and soft tissues for any signs of issues and check the fit and condition of your dentures.
